NEW SOUTH WALES

New South Wales has a lot to offer visitors to Australia. Sydney, arguably one of the world’s greatest cities, is New South Wales’ capital city. The World Heritage listed Blue Mountains are just a 90 minute drive east of Sydney.  Ninety minutes to the north lies the Hunter Valley, New South Wales wine region specializing in the Semillon grape. To the south are beaches, beaches, and more beaches. Kayaking, snorkeling, hiking and camping are just some of the eco possibilities all around Sydney. And the self-drive along the coast from Sydney to Melbourne is one of the world’s prettiest drives. No trip to Australia would be complete without a visit to New South Wales.
