Wildlife in the Wild

The Southern Highlands are located 90 minutes south of Sydney, and much of Australia’s iconic wildlife is found there.  This afternoon/evening tour, which includes a light lunch and full dinner, takes you in search of the animals that make Australia so unique.  With the help of a knowledgeable and passionate Naturalist Guide we often find koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, platypus, wombats, possums, echidnas, emus, and birdlife, all in their natural habitat.

Departs: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday @ 11:00am (April through September) and @ noon October through March.  Duration: 10 hours.

Uncharted Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains are a million acre World Heritage-listed area located 90 minutes to the west of Sydney. Our full day tour avoids the tourist traps to show you the Blue Mountains from an insider’s perspective; from secluded lookouts, rainforest bush tracks and pristine valleys. See Australia’s unique landscapes and learn local stories and legends about aboriginal culture.

We visit some spectacular lookouts and waterfalls, and our flexible itinerary allows you to take in a variety of views and walks around the area.  We see all the main sights, such as the Three Sisters, but we take you to the smaller lookouts where we’ll hopefully be the only ones enjoying the view. Quiet bushwalks enhance the experience.

At lunchtime we include a 2 course lunch with starters.  Afterwards we head down from the mountains for a hands on Australian native wildlife encounter and the chance to feed kangaroos and have a photo taken with a koala at Featherdale Wildlife Park.  From there we return to the city in style on a wonderful river cruise that starts near the site of the Sydney 2000 Olympics, passing under the Sydney Harbour Bridge before ending at Circular Quay.

Boutique Gourmet Wine Tour

The Hunter Valley is located 2 hours north of Sydney and is Australia’s oldest wine region.  Our full day wine tour offers a flexible itinerary with a focus on the smaller, boutique wineries where you can feel the passion of the wine makers.  We do not visit the same wineries every day. At time of booking feel free to suggest wineries or wine styles you prefer and we will do our best to incorporate them, or rely on the expert knowledge of your guide to shape your day. There are over 80 Cellar Doors in the lower Hunter Valley to choose from.

We include a gourmet, 2 course lunch with a glass of wine, incorporating the best local produce from the Hunter Valley.
