Sydney Seaplanes

Sydney Seaplanes has become an iconic feature of Sydney Harbor as we fly above some of the world’s most awe inspiring views such as the Sydney Opera House, the Harbor Bridge, the Pittwater, a string of pristine city beaches and the luxuriant bushland of the Hawkesbury River region.  All flights depart from our historic terminal and museum in Rose Bay with daily fly/dine packages to the culinary delights of such waterfront restaurants as the Cottage Point Inn or Jonah’s at Whale Beach.

Please note that hotel transfers for any tour are NOT included.  Rose Bay can be reached by ferry or water taxi from Circular Quay, or by taxi or Uber from downtown.

Sydney Highlights

Our Sydney Highlights scenic flight covers beautiful Sydney Harbour and Bondi Beach.  We’ll exit the harbour and marvel at the stunning sandstone cliffs rising abruptly from the sea and shortly reach Bondi Beach as your pilot maneuvers the aircraft so that you have a great view of the scores of surfers.  From Bondi head back into the harbour and climb to 1000 feet for a stunning view.  Track to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House to complete a circuit above the famous icons.  On descent back to Rose Bay your pilot will point out the beautiful houses of the rich and famous.

Secret Sydney

Our Sydney Secrets scenic flight covers the highlights of Sydney’s coast and waterways.  Our pilots know this area like the back of their hand and will point out the famous beaches along the route, including Manly, Curl Curl, Avalon and the iconic Palm Beach; where Australia’s favourite soap “Home and Away” is filmed.  Return to the Harbour via the yachties paradise of Pittwater.  Our high wing beaver aircraft is perfect for still or video photography.

Cottage Point Inn Fly & Lunch

At just 20 minutes flying time from Sydney we’ll make a water landing in front of the tranquil Cottage Point Inn.  This beautiful restaurant is perched on the water’s edge in the heart of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and is renowned for offering exceptional modern Australian cuisine.  Upon landing we taxi the aircraft to the restaurant’s seaplane dock, where Cottage Point Inn’s friendly staff offer a warm welcome and any number of great Australian wines! After a leisurely 3 course a la carte lunch reboard your seaplane and return to Sydney Harbor.  To top off a magical afternoon we offer you an incredible photo opportunity flying a circuit of the Harbor Bridge and Opera House before landing at Rose Bay.

Jonah’s Whale Beach Fly & Lunch

Your flight tracks north past Sydney’s spectacular northern beaches before touching down in the waterway of Pittwater. A Jonah’s vehicle will meet us at the dock for the short transfer to the restaurant. Perched high on the edge of a cliff overlooking Whale Beach, Jonah’s is one of Australia’s most prestigious ocean retreats, offering contemporary Australian cuisine combining the best and freshest local produce. You will be as impressed with the food as with the 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon seaplane flight back to Rose Bay encompassing a Sydney Harbor circuit over the Harbor Bridge and Opera House.
