Alice Springs is the Northern Territory’s western gateway to the Red Center: Uluru, Kata Tjuta, King’s Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges, and Desert Marble are all accessible from this quirky frontier town. The town also boasts several art galleries with aboriginal art, museums, wildlife centers, and restaurants.
Multi day tours to parts of the Red Center are available from Alice Springs. In addition to being the gateway to the Red Center, the town offers other activities as well. You can sail over the plains in a hot air balloon. Or take a sunset camel ride against the backdrop of the beautiful West MacDonnell Ranges.
