Uluru & Kata Tjuta

Uluru and Kata Tjuta form the 2 major landmarks of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Uluru, formerly known as Ayers Rock, is one of Australia’s most iconic symbols. The other part of the park is nearby Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). These sandstone formations are best seen up close after some hiking effort.

Uluru is an ancient landscape, rich in indigenous culture and spirituality. Nearby Kata Tjuta’s sandstone domes are believed to be around 500 million years old.

Discover Aboriginal culture and the rugged natural beauty of this region on an outback journey. There are many ways to experience the majesty and beauty of this unique desert landscape. Take a hike with an Aboriginal guide, see it from the skies by hot air balloon, or on the back of a camel or by Segway.  With sparkling wine or a multi course gourmet dinner at sunset or coffee and damper at sunrise; Uluru Kata Tjuta will never cease to amaze.
