Katherine Gorge

Nitmiluk National Park

Australia’s Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park is located at the southern tip of Kakadu National Park and Aboriginal-owned Arnhem Land. The park is known for its craggy sandstone cliffs, spectacular waterfalls and lush rainforest. The Edith Falls waterfalls flow all year round and are a great spot for swimming, picnics and camping. Take a cruise on the beautiful Katherine Gorge, a succession of sandstone gorges shaped over millions of years, which stretches along the sparkling and clear waterway of the Katherine River.
