Davidson's Arnhem Land Safari Camp

Davidson’s Arnhemland Safaris

Explore the Mt Borradaile region, located in Arnhemland. Small groups can travel in from either Darwin or Jabiru. Activities include bird watching, billabong cruises, barramundi fishing, visiting world class rock art galleries, 4WD adventures, bush tucker and medicine walks, exploring catacombs, investigating paperbark swamps and monsoonal rainforest, wildlife spotting, viewing exotic flora and swimming in rock pools safely up in the escarpment. All these tours are fully guided due to the sacred nature of the area and to make your visit a truly memorable experience. The camp is in an idyllic bush setting where there is a choice of Luxury cabin through to airy Safari tents. Facilities include bar, lounge, library, dining areas, swimming pool and outdoor decking.

The Mt Borradaile area is Aboriginal land, where previously there was no public access. In the 1980s, with the blessing of the traditional owners, Max and Philippa Davidson set up a safari camp and air strip. The emphasis is on conservation of the cultural and natural environment.
