LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK

Queensland‘s Lamington National Park is an amazing park filled with lush green rainforests, waterfalls, an abundance of birds and other wildlife. The park offers lots of hiking and walking trails, ancient trees, and gorgeous views. Exceptional ecological importance and natural beauty make this Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area an exceptional place to visit. Lamington National Park is also renowned as one of Australia’s top bird-watching spots.

Lamington National Park is made up of two sections: Green Mountains and Binna Burra. The Green Mountains section is located on the western side of the Lamington Plateau in an area called O’Reilly. O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk allows you to walk through a canopy of flowering and fruiting trees covered by vines while you are surrounded by the many birds and animals that inhabit the tree tops.

Lamington National Park is located approximately 80 miles north of the Brisbane airport.
