While Cairns has no natural beach as you head north from there you’ll find a series of gorgeous white sand beaches culminating in Palm Cove with the area often referred to as the Northern Beaches. It’s roughly half way between Cairns and Port Douglas so a good compromise if you want to do activities from both those places.
