Vineyard Tour Jacob’s Creek Winery

BAROSSA VALLEY

The Barossa Valley is a world-acclaimed wine region with a diversity of growing conditions. While the Eden Valley produces the cool climate wine varietals, the region’s flagship wine, shiraz, is grown in the warmer, low-lying areas.

The Barossa Valley is also well-known for its fresh seasonal produce, artisan specialty meats, breads, and cheeses. If you’re a foodie you can dine at Appellation Restaurant or one of the many other award-winning restaurants in the region. You can also choose to follow one of the wine trails in the area. For instance, the Heritage Trail highlights the historic wineries and cellars of the region.

Located about about 43 miles from Adelaide, you can easily visit the region as a day trip. Or choose to stay here and spend a few days exploring the wineries, restaurants, and artisan shops.
