Welcome to Molly’s Run, named after our beloved Molly the dog. Your hosts, Paul and Charmaine, welcome you to our beautiful hidden gem at Smith Bay on the North Coast of Kangaroo Island.
Molly’s Run is a 3 guest room Tuscan style lodge for those discerning clients looking for peace, tranquility and a little indulgence. Enjoy beautiful night skies, sunsets, dawns, and for bird lovers, we are surrounded by both a huge variety and number of birds. Go for a walk before breakfast and see our resident kangaroos before they disappear into the bush for the day. Often koalas are in our trees immediately surrounding the house offering a wonderful photo opportunity.
We look forward to welcoming you with great local wines and meals cooked using as much local produce as possible. For those guests who are self driving, we are more than happy to provide our local insight and knowledge to help plan the perfect visit. Please ask us to take you on a nocturnal tour after dinner to see our otherwise mostly hidden animals; it will be a highlight of your stay with us.
Please note that we are located in a remote farming area about a half hour’s drive from Kingscote. Due to the presence of large numbers of wildlife on the road from dusk through to the early morning there is a significant risk of hitting wildlife so it is not advisable to drive near or after dark but if you must please drive very slowly.
