Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is nestled in a secluded bush setting in the Cradle Valley on the edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. The Village offers 37 cottages set in small clusters situated to maximize privacy and comfort.
Your home away from home includes a functional kitchenette, separate lounge and dining area, well appointed bathroom, LCD television and a private view of the rainforest from every angle.
When you step out onto your private balcony you may come face to face with a wallaby, wombat, pademelon, possum, or currawong. Or just enjoy a relaxing walk through temperate bush – it’s all part of the wilderness experience.

Accommodation
Cottage
Open plan with queen bed in main living area and separate room with single bed. A great studio for couples either alone or with a small child.
2 Bedroom Chalet
Two bedrooms with queen and two single beds at either end of a central living area. Suits families or two couples travelling together.
Villa
Two bedrooms with queen and four bunk beds with a separate large living area. Perfect accommodation for larger families or travelling group.
Spa Cottage
Just for couples, these cottages are the ultimate bush hut. A king sized bed with an ensuite bathroom adjacent to the living area with a cozy gas fire and a central spa bath. The private balcony overlooks temperate rainforest and all are designed with romance in mind.
Premium Chalet
The Premium Chalet has bedrooms at either end with a queen bed in the first bedroom and two king singles in the other. Off the central living area is a kitchenette/dining space which opens onto a large balcony overlooking forest surrounds. The shared bathroom has a jetted bathtub for relaxing in after a vigorous walk, or a day of doing nothing!
