With produce sourced from the best domestic and international suppliers, dishes are complemented with ingredients straight from VOMO’s own herb and vegetable gardens. The Reef Restaurant

The Reef Restaurant is VOMO’s main dining restaurant and boasts à la carte dining at each meal with daily changing lunch and dinner menus. On balmy evenings guests dine poolside and lunch may be served under the trees on the beach. In the evening, a selection of acoustic Fijian and international music will enhance your dining experience.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for and children are not forgotten; they have their own menu and can dine in the restaurant or in the Kids Village.

Private Dining

By special arrangement, private lunches or dinners can be served as a special treat for loved ones or as an intimate option for groups or families wishing to dine together.

Vuda Bar

The Vuda Bar sits adjacent to the restaurant and is VOMO’s main bar. An international wine and cocktail list combine with open-air seating for a relaxing drink or snack at any time.

Rocks Bar

Located at the western tip of  VOMO is The Rocks Bar – an adults only environment and quite possibly the coolest bar in the South Pacific. Overlooking an expanse of fine white sand and across the water to Vomo Lailai, The Rocks Bar is the island’s ringside seat for adults to enjoy a spectacular sunset, ‘rocktail’ in hand. The Rocks is open daily between 5-7pm and on selected evenings for adults only dining from 7pm.

Fishing at VOMO is a popular activity.  Try your hand at sport fishing aboard our purpose built fishing boat.  A 2 hour trolling trip around VOMO will target spanish mackerel, trevally and kingfish.  Suitable for 4 persons maximum.

Handline fishing with bait can be enjoyed from one of the resort’s long boats, targeting bottom fish such as snapper and grouper. Minimum 2 people and a great activity for both kids and adults to enjoy.

Fishing activities require additional fees.

Scuba Diving Activities require additional fees.

Vomo’s wetsuits have different thicknesses in every size, either long or short according to every guest needs. The resort also offers wrist dive computers and for emergency waterproof pocket VHF for safety and good quality reachable dive torches.
The dive boat is fully shaded with a 150hp outboard engine. The boat is very comfortable with a length of 8.6 meters. All of the dives are reached by boat. Vomo offers courses, single dives and double tank dives. Staff always look after the needs of divers individually, making sure they are comfortable. For safety, there is a policy that if a guest has not been diving within the last year they must do a refresher course. Divers are limited to 6 per boat depending on their qualification and staff also attempts to put the same level of divers together. Diving times are not set because the dives depend on tides, winds, swells, qualification of divers and needs.

Vomo Dive Sites:

Vomo has 5 dive sites nearby; all of them are 5 to 10 minutes by boat distance from the Activities Center. These are considered shallow dives and the average depth for all of them ranges from 12 to 20 meters. These sites consist of many overhangs and galleys. Some of the marine life that can be spotted are small reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, napoleon wrasses, different types of reef fish such as groupers, snappers or anemone fishes, just to name a few. The coral life is quite healthy.
